Elizabeth was no stranger to privilege, after all, she was the Governor's daughter.

But what made her feel unaccustomed was the luxury of pirates.

On board the Empress, Elizabeth found herself surrounded by wealth and beauty.

In a pirate's inner world, there is actually a wonderful mixture, Elizabeth is fascinated unconsciously, and willingly puts herself at the mercy of Sao Feng.

Candles flickered in the Pirate King's cabin, casting light on drapes of shimmering silk and soft pillows scattered on the floor and on the couch.

Crimson and gold materials lend an exotic zest to the cabin.

The room wasn't the only thing that was decorated.

As soon as she set foot on the ship, three Chinese girls came to take care of all her needs.

They bathed and dressed her and dressed her in traditional Chinese dresses made of soft, shiny silk.

Now she is standing in the middle of a beautiful room waiting for Xiao Feng, waiting to see what Xiao Feng wants from her.

The pirate king walked into the room quietly and stood there for a while, stunned by the sight in front of him.

Elizabeth's eyes sparkled with fire, and her skin glowed in the dim light.

The simple Chinese gown on her made her look both utterly feminine and utterly powerful.

She looks like a goddess.

Xiao Feng walked forward and recited the poem "To Zhang Ji". He said: "The willows are just sprouting, and the water in the pool is lightly brushed."

He picked up a wine bottle from the low table, poured out a glass and handed it to Elizabeth, who took it hesitantly.

"I admit it," she said, "I didn't expect to be treated like this."

She thought she'd be locked up, perhaps punished for taking part in stealing Sao Feng's charts or getting him into trouble with the East India Trading Company.

Sao Feng smiled over the rim of his glass, "There is no other way to be worthy of you—Calypso."

Elizabeth's glass rested on her lips, froze.

What is he talking about?

"Could you repeat that?"

Is it because he was so kind to himself because he admitted the wrong person? If that's the case, it might be to your own detriment to let him know he was mistaken.

"I guess you don't like that name," Sao Feng said. "You have many names, but that's what we call you."

"Who are we referring to?" asked Elizabeth.

"Who is that?" Xiao Feng corrected her.

"Who are they?" insisted Elizabeth.

He considered the modification for a moment, then shrugged and continued, "We mean the Brotherhood and our predecessors, those who hid you under this body."

"Forgive me, I lied, those people chained you up, oh 'who'. You're right."

He looks admiring, but Elizabeth is more concerned with the story itself than with her grammatical triumph.

"Goddess?" she asked.

"Have you confirmed it?" Xiao Feng said quickly.

"Prove what?" Elizabeth asked. "You didn't tell me anything."

She walked away and sat on the red low sofa, trying to hide how little she knew about the whole thing, while Xiao Feng followed her.

"It's the fraternity, not me. It's the first fraternity...those people...the decision of those people, I should have opposed it." Xiao Feng stammered.

"They bound you in human form, so that the rules of the sea are controlled by men, not by..."

"It's not in my hands," Elizabeth said, beginning to understand what was going on.

"But a god like you should never condescend to this." Sao Feng said charmingly.

"Sweet words from a hunter," Elizabeth said, tossing her head, and the extravagant tiara on her head slid a little.

She leaned against the scarlet silk, trying to become very calm.

"But those words lose their luster when spoken through the bars of the cage."

"Am I going to be blamed for my efforts?" Xiao Feng leaned forward and asked, "All men are attracted to the sea, even though it might be dangerous."

He looked into her eyes, and Elizabeth knew he was not just talking about the sea.

Chapter 292 Pirate Captain Elizabeth!

Elizabeth leaned against the scarlet silk, trying to be calm.

"Some people justify their crimes with lust," she said softly.

"I only offer my desire." Xiao Feng replied.

A smile slipped across her lips. "A small thing." She sneered, "What do you want in return?"

"If you choose to bestow, I will receive your favor."

It is now clear that Sao Feng was completely wrong.

She wasn't who he expected, and she didn't have the magic he needed.

"What if I choose not?" she said, raising her chin.

"Then I will accept your fury." Xiao Feng said, grabbing Elizabeth's shoulder and kissing her forcefully.

Startled, Elizabeth pushed him away, but before she could do or say anything, she heard a muffled explosion in the distance.

They both looked up and saw a cannonball hit the hull just right, causing a huge explosion, splinters of sawdust flying everywhere, shouts and screams all over the deck, and the sound of pirates rushing to their fighting posts, and gunfire.
