But in this dark corner, there are only Will and Xiao Feng, or so they think.
"It's a strange coincidence, isn't it?" Xiao Feng squeezed out these words through his teeth, "You just showed up in Singapore, and people from the East India Trading Company came to your door on the same day."
"It's just a coincidence," Will replied.
Will twisted his body and got rid of Sao Feng's control. He drew his sword and faced the pirate king.
Mercer, hiding in the shadows where no one could see, grinned and pulled out his pistol, aiming carefully now that it was a godsend opportunity to kill Will Turner and the Singaporean pirate chief.
"Are you going to trade that with Beckett?" Will asked Sao Feng, "You need my offer."
Mercer paused.
"You lied to Barbossa, and you still want to betray Jack Sparrow, how can I count on you?"
"They keep me from getting what I want," Will said. "You're going to get it for me."
Xiao Feng nodded, this was a logic he could understand, he was still standing, waiting to gain more benefits from this behind-the-scenes transaction.
"If you betray me," he said to Will in a low voice, "I'll cut your throat."
"That's it," Will said.
They put down the swords in their hands, and Sao Feng handed Will the nautical chart to the world of death. Will nodded and disappeared into the night, followed by Mercer.
After escaping the fight, Elizabeth and Barbossa ran to the pier and saw Will standing on a platform, and Barbossa noticed the nautical chart in his hand.
"You've got the chart!" he exclaimed joyfully.
"There are better ones," Will said, pointing to Tai Huang behind him, "and a ship and a crew."
"Where is Sao Feng?" Elizabeth asked.
"He'll cover our departure and meet us at Beach Cove," Will replied.
Elizabeth felt puzzled, why did Xiao Feng give in after strongly opposing them?
Perhaps the East India Trading Company raids made him realize how serious a threat they were.
In any case, they'd gotten what they'd come here to get, so Elizabeth decided to accept the outcome and stop asking.
"This way." Tai Huang said, "Quick."
Tia Dalma, Pantel, Rajti and Katon came out of the gunpowder and ran behind Taihuang together.
Mercer watched from the shadows, laughing to himself.
There was little they had to do, the pirates were already attacking each other, and once they fell apart, they were no longer a match for the East India Trading Company.
Soon, they will be completely eradicated.
On the deck of the Haipeng, Will Turner stood over the ship's rail, watching Singapore burn.
What started in the bathroom has now spread rapidly to the wooden houses and decks that make up the city.
Although his eyes were fixed on the fire, his thoughts were thousands of miles away.
He thought over and over about his deal with Sao Feng, if only he could tell Elizabeth about it, but that was impossible.
They each have their own secrets now, and she'll never be able to understand his motives any more than he can't and won't understand her feelings for Jack.
Barbossa stomped at Will as the ship continued to sail out of the port. "You shouldn't have been caught by him," he growled.
Will watched him calmly: "Things are resolved the way I hoped."
He walked away after speaking.
It would never have occurred to Barbosa that Will had deliberately let himself be caught so that he could talk to Sao Feng privately and propose a deal.
It was a risky experience, but one that would be worth it if it saved his father.
Will slipped into the bottom of the cabin in a blink of an eye.

Will slipped into the bottom of the cabin in a blink of an eye.
Elizabeth also stood by the side of the ship, watching the fire engulf the port.
"He has nowhere to hide."
"Do you think Xiao Feng will come to the appointment?" She said softly.
Tia Dalma came out from the shadows: "I can't say for sure."
The mysterious and powerful figure whispered that her eyes seemed to see beyond the burning ships and docks.
"There are things in the seas that would terrify even the staunchest, most ruthless pirates..."
Elizabeth shuddered. She knew that Tia Dalma was talking about the Flying Dutchman.
Although it was far away at the other end of the hour, she felt as if she could sense the dreaded ship lurking in the depths of the sea.
They must rescue Jack Sparrow, because for the pirates, this is the only hope: everyone unites against Davy Jones and the East India Trading Company.
If they don't, they all die.
......
It was snowing heavily.
Will reaches out and catches a snowflake.
He looked up at the sky curiously, watching the thick dark clouds focus on their heads.
A cold wind howled through the sails, and all the pirates shivered.
The Haipeng was sailing through a frozen sea, and they were already very close to the edge of the earth, on the ice passage where two worlds meet.
Sharp, blue-and-white glaciers rose abruptly from the surrounding water, reflecting pale light.
The sea was dark, the wind and rain were blowing, and the snow was falling thick and fast.
Gibbs stood at the wheel, staring into the darkness, steering cautiously through the ice.
