Chapter 333 333: The Power of High-Level Experts!
Chapter 333 333: The Power of High-Level Experts!
"Undying level?"
Luo Wen was shocked.
In the cosmic power hierarchy, Undying beings were second only to the strongest existences in the universe. Each one possessed power capable of destroying worlds.
"That's right," Yan Di confirmed. "This will be a battle between Undying-level experts. For someone like you, observing it will fundamentally reshape your understanding."
Luo Wen's curiosity burned intensely.
On Earth, the strongest beings he had encountered were only planetary or stellar level. Undying-level combat was something entirely beyond his experience.
"And furthermore," Yan Di continued, tempting him further, "if this mission succeeds, you will gain high recognition within the Great Axe Combat Arena. You may even gain access to deeper secrets."
"Deeper secrets?" Luo Wen's eyes lit up.
"Truths about the universe," Yan Di said mysteriously. "Secrets known only to true strong beings."
Luo Wen thought carefully.
This was indeed a rare opportunity. Not only could he witness Undying-level combat, but he could also glimpse the deeper structure of the universe. For someone who pursued knowledge, this was irresistible.
"What do I need to do?" he finally asked.
Yan Di smiled in satisfaction. "Assist us in analyzing enemy tactical changes and provide suggestions when necessary."
"Sounds safe enough," Luo Wen said with slight relief.
"Of course. You will not participate in direct combat. You will observe from a command ship equipped with full protection systems."
"When do we leave?"
"Tomorrow."
"Tomorrow?" Luo Wen was surprised.
"There is no time," Yan Di said. "Based on your analysis, the enemy will act within a week. We must move first."
"I understand."
"Inform your teammates," Yan Di added. "So they don't worry."
"Alright."
The next morning, a sleek silver warship descended quietly onto the landing platform of the Virtual Universe headquarters. The emblem of the Great Axe Combat Arena gleamed on its hull.
Hong, Lei Shen, and Luo Feng came to see him off.
"Take care," Luo Feng said, hugging him tightly.
"We'll miss you," Lei Shen said softly.
"Come back soon," Hong patted his shoulder. "Earth's team needs you."
"I will," Luo Wen replied. "And you all must continue improving. Let the universe see what Earth warriors can do."
The hatch opened.
A young man in Great Axe Combat Arena uniform stepped out.
"You must be Mr. Luo Wen. I'm here to escort you."
Luo Wen nodded and boarded the ship.
Inside, Yan Di was already waiting, wearing a black combat uniform.
"Ready?" Yan Di asked.
"Yes."
"Good. Let's depart."
The ship lifted into the sky and vanished into the vast universe.
The silver warship cut through space like a streak of light. The Great Axe emblem shimmered under starlight.
The ship was named Break Sky, a mid-sized elite vessel used for high-level missions. Fast, heavily protected, and highly stealth-capable.
Luo Wen sat in the observation deck, staring out through the reinforced window.
This was his first true interstellar journey.
Countless stars shimmered like diamonds scattered across black velvet. Nebulae bloomed in the distance like flowing fire.
"How is it?" Yan Di asked, standing beside him.
"Shocking," Luo Wen admitted. "Beyond words."
"The universe is vast," Yan Di said. "Even strong beings are only dust in comparison."
"How long to Blue Crystal Star?"
"About three days at our current speed."
"Three days?"
"Our warp engine reaches fifty times the speed of light."
Luo Wen was stunned.
At that moment, an alarm suddenly sounded.
"Report! Unknown vessels detected ahead!"
Yan Di's expression changed instantly.
"Display the image."
On the main screen, more than ten black ships appeared, rapidly approaching.
Pirate ships.
"Space pirates?" Luo Wen was surprised.
"They are everywhere in remote routes," Yan Di said calmly.
The pirate channel activated.
A rough voice echoed through the ship.
"Stop immediately! Surrender your cargo and you may live!"
Yan Di sighed. "Black Crow Pirates. Never heard of them."
"Need reinforcements?" the pilot asked.
"No need," Yan Di stood up. "I'll handle them."
"You personally?" Luo Wen was shocked.
"Let me show you what real strength looks like."
The pirates opened fire.
The warship's shield activated, shimmering blue under the barrage.
"Shield energy down to seventy percent!" the pilot reported.
"That's enough."
Yan Di walked toward the exit.
"You're going outside?" Luo Wen asked. "It's vacuum out there!"
"For Undying-level beings, vacuum is irrelevant."
He stepped out.
Moments later, Luo Wen saw him appear in space.
Unharmed.
Surrounded by a faint energy glow.
"This is high-level strength…"
Yan Di moved forward.
The pirate fleet fired again.
But the attacks bent away mid-flight, as if reality itself had shifted.
"Space law," Luo Wen whispered. "He's distorting space."
